FOUNDER BIO

Ariadna Ramirez, M.S., BCBA is a dual degree graduate from Florida International University in Psychology and Music. During this time Ariadna was gaining work experience employed as a Registered Behavioral Technician and Student Analyst.

Continuing her education further, Mrs. Ramirez completed her Master of Science in Psychology with Summa Cum Laude honors from Purdue University. Further expanding her skills and professional learning during her master’s pursuit, Ariadna advanced to the position of Services Program Coordinator. During this time, she gained the unique experience of developing, launching, and overseeing Social Skills Groups, Early Intervention, and Summer/Spring Break Camps.

At the immediate conclusion of the master’s degree, Ariadna sat for the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Exam of which she succeeded in passing upon her first attempt. Thus began Mrs. Ramirez’s time working as a BCBA in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis operating effectively with more than 25 clients at once in both the home and school settings. Her clients range from the ages of 18-months to 54 years old.

Ariadna resumes her hunger for deepening her understanding in how to best help children and families by continuing studies at the University of Florida seeking a Doctor of Education in Special Education with a concentration in Teacher Training and Learning. The many years of education, ABA experience, and growing passion have now culminated in the founding of Sunny Horizons Therapies to extend reach and positively impact populations with disabilities.
