Each child is unique, therefore so is their treatment. A clients’ treatment plan is developed based on assessments conducted to determine the function of their behaviors and evaluate their current skills. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of changing behavior in ways that are socially significant for the client, their family, and the community in which they live. It utilizes data-driven, empirically proven methods to not only reduce problematic behaviors, but also to improve skill development and independence. ABA emphasizes collaborative efforts between practitioners and families to accomplish lasting change and improvement in quality of life.
